Webinar Summary
According to the EPA, 70% of water systems inspected since September 2023 have critical cybersecurity vulnerabilities and do not comply with the Safe Water Drinking Act. For hackers, water facilities present a tempting mix of vulnerable, high-impact targets. Common threats include ransomware, sleeper agents such as logic bombs, cyber-physical attacks and insider threats. This presentation explores the real-world consequences of unsecured water and wastewater utilities, and suggests viable, affordable solutions.
